The waterproof and invisible polymer film in SCARSYSTEM®™ SCAR GEL ensures the effective and preventive treatment of hypertrophic scars and keloids.
The patented tocopherols Vesisorb™® and Equol™® contained in nanocapsules are released to the skin during the entire treatment period. This permanently moisturizes and has an anti-inflammatory effect on top.
This thin, self-drying polymer film serves as a protective shield against bacterial, chemical and physical influences.The important moisture balance remains in the scar tissue, which normalizes the connective tissue of the scar. The result is smoother, less noticeable scarring.
In order to prevent damage to the scar tissue from sun, both SCARSYSTEM®™ SCAR GEL and the cryo-roller contained in the combi-pack hold an extremely high UVA and UVB protection factor of 50. The patented SPF Cicagard®™ offers 100% protection for over 12 hours.
Scar care
The scar tissue is pre-treated with the Cryo Massage Roller, which also contains a cooling gel. This Roller must be pre-cooled in the freezer for at least one hour. Massage the scar tissue evenly for about a minute. The SCARSYSTEM®™ SCAR GEL is then applied twice without pressure using the roll-on technology. This creates an invisible polymer film that offers an ideal prerequisite for scar healing.
This Treatment is only needed once a day. The purple color disappears about 30 minutes after application.
Do not touch the applied SCARSYSTEM®™ SCAR GEL before it is dry.
Please do not apply the gel to open wounds, mucous membranes and near the eyes.
It can only be used externally and must be kept out of the reach of children.
